Oil immersed Transformers
In the electricity distribution and transformation sector, choosing the right transformer is crucial to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Oil-immersed transformer consist of windings immersed in an insulating liquid, typically mineral oil. The oil has a dual function: to electrically isolate the components and dissipate the heat generated during operation. Thanks to this structure, oil-filled transformers offer great heat management capacity and excellent electrical efficiency. These transformers, used for distribution, have an ONAN (Oil Natural Air Natural) cooling type in the standard configuration and could be installed either inside an electrical cabinet or outside. Furthermore, they have an anti-corrosion surface treatment, making them suitable for harsh working conditions, and are tested in accordance with IEC 60076-1 standards.
Advantages
-
Excellent heat dissipation thanks to the circulation of the insulating liquid, which allows optimal operating temperatures to be maintained.
-
Higher overload capacity: they can handle occasional overloads without compromising performance.
-
Lower no-load and load losses for the same power.
-
Long life: with proper maintenance, oil-immersed devices can have a very long operating life.
-
Installation versatility: they can be installed both indoors and outdoors, adapting to different environmental conditions.
-
Corrosion resistance: the anti-corrosion treatment of the surfaces increases their durability in harsh environments.
-
Tested according to IEC 60076-1 and IEC 60296, they guarantee high standards of safety and reliability.
